Safety
We want every employee to go home safely at the end of the workday. With this in mind, we’re creating a culture in which everyone, at every level of the company, makes safety a personal priority. Our commitment to safety starts at the top, with the senior executives who comprise our Corporate Safety Committee. They routinely go out into the field and observe how safety processes are put into practice. If they identify potential problems, they work with local management to ensure that the issues are resolved. If they see things being done especially well, these “best practices” are shared with other Key Energy Services locations around the world.
Every Key Energy Services employee is trained – not once, but again and again – on safe work practices. A cornerstone of our safety training curriculum is DuPont’s widely acclaimed Safety Training Observation Program (STOP). Another process, Job Safety Analysis (JSA), compliments STOP by teaching employees to identify hazards in each step of their work and how to eliminate or reduce the hazards.
At Key Energy Services, prevention of injuries and accidents is one of our primary business objectives. Safety comes first – in everything we do.
